HOLLLAAAAAAA como esta Utah????
K I don't know what the best way to start this, so I'm just gonna jump right in!

Appreciate music while you've got it. You'll be sitting there studying through preach my gospel, then all the sudden you'll realize that you've had a song playing through your head for the last two hours- weird songs that you haven't heard in years but somehow you know every word. Elder Beardall and I found two computers that have two songs downloaded on them, and we make sure to get to the lab early every day to make sure we can get those two and listen to the songs on repeat the entire time. I have never been so ecstatic to hear the EFY Embark or Glorious by David Archuletta in my life!!
The food has continued to be amazing. But I don't think that the people here are used to Tadje eating- we had one day where we had these burrito bowls, where you had to eat down the beans and meat on the top and then fold it into a burrito which ended up being about the size of one from Cafe rio. Not able to finish one, all the Latino's bet me that I couldn't finish mine. I finished mine, and most of theirs as well! The Latino's are a riot. They have a few favorite phrases to say- mainly What's Krackalackin still, but they've learned how to say 'how much wood can a woodchuck chuck,' and 'What's up Bro?!?!?!' There's one Elder that constantly shouts that all night long, and it progressively gets louder and louder until everybody on our floor is awake!
It's crazy, I have never written in my journal this much!! Every night there is something new to write about. Every day is just full of spiritual experiences, and it seems like we're always doing something journal-worthy. I have never written less than two pages, and my handwriting keeps getting smaller and smaller to fit more and more in. I figured out at this pace, this journal will only last me about 11 more weeks! But the motto here is that 'It's a great day to be a missionary!' and it always is! Or if it isn't, then you do everything you can to MAKE it a great day to be a missionary. Time already feels like it's flying by- every day feels like it takes forever, but it's been years since we all left home!
Today has probably been one of my favorite days here. Because we all got to go to the temple!!!!! The temple here is about a half a block away from the CCM, and it is absolutely beautiful. It's extremely small, and going through with a group of 24 of at one time was almost too much to fit in any of the rooms. The baptismal font really was built for Latinos, it looked like it was about four feet across and maybe only three or four deep!
I'm gonna end this email this week with a quick thought that Elder Christofferson brought up in a devotional that we watched this week. When you're going through tough times, get down on your knees and pray then get up on your feet and work. I want to testify that this is true. I have never prayed harder in my life than these last two weeks, and it's gonna be like that for the next two years. And hopefully form a habit for the rest of my life. But if you really pray to the Lord with real intent and have faith in Him, then get up and go to work and give Him everything you've got, you will see miracles in your lives. I've seen them here already.
And thank everyone for your emails, I'm still trying to figure out this hour thing so it may take me awhile to respond but I appreciate them all so much, its such a blessing to be able to see little pieces of home every week!
All my love from Guatemala, Elder Tadje
